چکیده

Blasting demolition has been widely used in the safe and efficient demolishing of construction buildings. dust is most visible realistic harmful material during blasting process. The characteristics suppression are scarcely addressed literature. This article investigated micromorphology characteristic from a typical building project. median size value D50 was 65.890 ?m, it showed character smooth edge, fluffy structure, cracks. It consists higher content heavy metals than conventional cement powder particles, which include Mn, Ni, Zn, As elements. cannot be wet by municipal water for its hydrophobic character. A novelty method proposed to set methodology form stable, larger volume, surface area droplet on rod stand, provided more opportunities find out verify microscopic agglomeration phenomenon effectiveness between different wetting droplets. single dust-droplet collision results can accurately recorded high-speed camera with microscope, submergence time particle stand 2 ms, while 1.125 ms surfactant solution droplet, much shorter water. were shown that better agglomerated solution. In projects, BDD methods explosion mist have highest efficiency, restrict BDD’s concentration 10 mg/m 3 .

Fire Control and Suppression by Water-Mist Systems

The present work is an attempt to offer a comprehensive review of literature contributions, phenomenology and relevant results on water-mist systems. In particular, the water mist characterization and behavior in the field of fire control and suppression have been identified as the main areas of investigation. Some key parameters have been analyzed to gain a quantitative evaluation of the physi...

Review on Water Mist Fire Suppression System

Water mist fire suppression system (WMFSS) is one of the candidates in substituting the Halogen-based total flooding system. The system with strong spray momentum gives a satisfactory performance in extinguishing solid fires, liquid fires as well as kitchen fires under no ventilation. Nozzle with high discharge momentum and low operating pressure are the goal. Water mist discharged is assumed t...

Synchronized Blasting Demolition of Workshop and Chimney Under Complicated Conditions

Received: March 17, 2017 Revised: July 25, 2017 Accepted: August 18, 2017 Abstract: Introduction: For technical renovation of the thermal plant, one frame structure workshop of 50,000 m construction area and one reinforcement concrete chimney of 150m height shall be demolished by blasting in the same time. The engineering environment is very complicated and the accommodation space for the struc...

Numerical Simulation of Water Mist Suppression of Tunnel-fire Scenarios

Water-mist fire suppression systems offer a number of potential advantages over conventional sprinkler systems. A water-mist system uses very fine droplets of around 50μm diameter, which results in entirely different behaviour. In particular the water-mist remains suspended in air for long periods, and is influenced by the airflows caused by the fire and the general ventilation regime. In order...

Treatment of expansive soils with quality saline pore water by cyclic drying and wetting

Expansive soils can be found in many parts of the world particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. These soilspose a significant hazard to civil engineering structures due to its high swelling and shrinkage potential. This paperpresents the results of an experimental program developed to investigate the effect of cyclic drying and wetting on theswelling potential of expansive soils with variou...
